Welcome to OpenMart.pk, an online marketplace that connects sellers with customers across Pakistan. By signing up as a seller on OpenMart.pk, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline your responsibilities as a seller, pricing, fees, and other important aspects of selling on our platform.

1. Registration

To sell on openmart.pk, you must register for a seller account. During registration, you will need to provide accurate and up-to-date information about your business, products, and contact details. openmart.pk reserves the right to approve or reject your registration based on our evaluation criteria.

2. Seller Fees

Open Mart charges a commission fee for each sale made through our platform. The fees are broken down as follows:

  • Commission Fee: A percentage of the total sale amount, including product price and shipping cost, will be charged as a commission. The exact percentage may vary depending on your product category and the agreement between you and openmart.pk.
  • Listing Fee: A nominal fee may apply for each product listed on the platform. This helps cover administrative costs and ensures that your listings are promoted to our customer base.
  • Payment Processing Fee: A processing fee may be applied to each transaction to cover payment gateway costs.

Fee Structure Example:

  • Commission Fee: 5% of the product price + shipping
  • Listing Fee: Free
  • Payment Processing Fee: 2% per transaction

3. Product Listings

As a seller, you are responsible for the accurate listing of your products. This includes providing clear and detailed product descriptions, pricing, and images. openmart.pk reserves the right to remove any listings that violate our content policies or that are deemed misleading or inaccurate.

4. Payments

Sellers will receive payments for their products after the completion of the sale and successful delivery to the customer. Payments will be made via direct bank transfer, or through an agreed-upon payment method. All payments will be subject to a processing fee as outlined above.

5. Order Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly and delivering the products within the agreed-upon timeframe. It is important that products are shipped securely and in the condition described in the listing.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Sellers must provide accurate shipping information and may offer multiple shipping options to customers. openmart.pk recommends using trusted local and international courier services for safe and timely deliveries.

7. Returns & Refunds

Sellers must comply with openmart.pk Returns & Exchange Policy. If a customer returns a product, the seller is responsible for issuing the refund or exchange as per the policy, subject to certain conditions. Any disputes related to returns and refunds will be handled according to openmart.pk guidelines.

8. Seller Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory and manage product availability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to product sales, including taxes, import/export laws, and consumer protection.

9. Termination

Open Mart reserves the right to suspend or terminate a seller’s account if the seller violates any terms and conditions or engages in unethical business practices. In the event of account suspension or termination, any outstanding fees must be settled by the seller.

10. Modifications to Terms

Open Mart reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between the seller and openmart.pk or the seller and customers will be handled according to openmart.pk's dispute resolution procedures. In case of unresolved issues, sellers may seek legal resolution in accordance with Pakistani law.
